Sunday School

The Pilgrim Sunday School is currently undergoing a restructure at the Pilgrim Church - visit this page for more details soon. We are still active see below for what we are doing.

The Sunday school department provides an exciting environment for fundamental Bible teaching with its dedicated teachers and student classes for all age groups.

The Sunday school classes have been carefully designed to encourage interactive learning with teaching, sharing and questioning being an integral and important part of the learning process.

Sunday school is also a means of forging fellowship as students share their thoughts on scripture. The Sunday school has a number of activities and a typical year will include the following:

  • Christmas Nativity play

  • Mothering Sunday

  • Father’s Day

  • Salvation Sunday

  • Easter play

  • Easter Programme

  • Family Fun Day & Sports Day

  • annual Skegness summer excursion

  • Bible Character presentations

  • Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday

  • Presentations & Teachers appreciation

‘Bible Memorisation Sundays’ is when the church is invited to learn scripture verses by heart, based on certain key words and then recite them for the congregation.

The various programs within Sunday school give the students the opportunity to share their gifts of singing, drama, presentations and administration throughout the year.

Sunday school is a great way to study and deepen our understanding of the bible in a safe and supportive environment conducive to learning. Come along any Sunday morning and share in the richness of the Sunday school and the Word of God

Sunday School is for you!
